hi, i’m kendra marie. i am the founder and creative director of YOUTHskin/care, and curator of the YOUTHblog.

i grew up in southern california and longed to spend my summer vacations in france and christmas holidays in italy. i had no photo album from paris, new york, or london. instead, i collected glossy images torn from the pages of vogue, allure, and nylon.

i taped these images to the walls of my bedroom, imagining them as windows which overlooked the world’s creative epicenters. the people behind those images—the designers, makeup artists, models, photographers, and editors—inspired me. they were part of something. they came together to share their story with the world, through the universal language of beauty.

those 8.5 x 11 portals inspired me to become part of the beauty industry myself, and i have since had the honor of working alongside some of the industry’s best creative minds from right here in my own creative epicenter: southern california.

the YOUTHblog is my scrapbook of today, where i showcase the art, fashion, creativity, and beauty that continues to inspire me, and motivates me to share my own story through what i create. i hope it inspires you to do the same.
