life has been a little crazy to say the least. so much, that i just kind of got excited for coachella. i am usually counting down the days to the event, but this year it snuck up on me.
here are my do’s and don’ts for this year . i have attended plenty of years to honestly say that i would take my own advice.
DO
plan ahead. highlight the bands you want to see with different colors and prioritize who you really want to see perform, and what not. get all ocd with this shit! i know i do! and with this year being sold out, this could help you tremendously.
wear spf. apply every couple hours and make sure it’s a teaspoon size amount. aint nothin cute about a crazy farmers tan, or skin cancer for that matter.
be picky about who you chose to hang out with for the 3 day event. this could make or break your experience. you really can learn a lot about someone in 3 days in over 100 degree weather…
look tan. without looking like you tanned. st tropez tanning foam or jergens natural glow lotion is the way to go.
get a pedicure, manicure, and your body waxed. just because it’s a music festival doesn’t mean you get to look like a complete beast.
keep count of the most ridiculous/awesome tattoo’s you see.
watch a band on the main stage from the beer gardens. less crowd, sound is great, and you’ll be enjoying a beverage that contains alcohol.
give kanye west a chance…stay tuned for my open letter to mr.west
have a good time and stay hydrated.
double fist churros, and don’t give a damn. chances are if you’re a girl, you’ve been on some kind of crazy coachella diet so you can look good in a pair of hot shorts. treat yourself to a churro and an icee.
be aware that there are over 30k people there…
DON’T
get a spray tan. everyone knows. you’re not fooling anyone giiirl.
buy drugs from people in the dance tent! haven’t you seen the youtube video of the naked wizard getting tased? that could be you!
wear heels. honeslty, after 7 years i still see this and don’t get it.
fall in love at coachella.
try to be cute. i mean don’t think your daily routine of makeup/hair will work out there. keep it simple, and remember that half of whatever you put on your face will have melted off by the second hour you are there.
wear a bikini. a bikini top – is ok. just a bikini…no.
camp.
